Part 1: Inventory, Assets and Kits

Part 1: Navigating to Inventory
Click the Inventory icon on the Home screen to open the Inventory module.
Part 2: Exploring the Inventory List
The Inventory Items list loads, showing 256 total items grouped by type
Review the left-hand filter panel, which includes filter fields
Collapse the filter panel by clicking the collapse arrow to expand the item list to full width, revealing the complete item names and Lot Number column.
Scroll down the inventory list to find the LY11223344 10mg Tablet group (showing 22 items and a summed quantity of 4,899).
Click the expand arrow next to LY11223344 10mg Tablet (22) to reveal the individual lot/item records beneath it (e.g., LY11223344 10mg Tablet_131341#1, _331414#1, _1315#1, _15154#1, etc.).
Part 3: Opening an Inventory Item
Click onLY11223344 10mg Tablet_131341#1 to open the item detail view. A new tab opens in the top tab bar for this item.
Review the Item Details panel on the left side:
Part 4: Inventory Usage Tab
The Inventory Usage tab is shown by default.
Click the "+ Usage Entry" button (top right of the item view) to log a new usage entry.
The "New Usage Entry" dialog opens.
Select "Removed" from the type dropdown, enter the quantity, and optionally add a note.
Click "Save Entry" to confirm. A green success toast appears: "Usage Entry – Usage entry created successfully."
The usage table updates to show the new row: Initial Qty 98, Usage -1, Result 97, Note "demo", Date "1 minute ago."
Part 5: Worksheets Tab
Click the "Worksheets" tab to view associated worksheets for this inventory item. (No specific worksheet content shown in this demo segment.)
Part 6: Data Tab
Click the "Data" tab. Two sub-tabs appear: Batch Information and Receipt Information.
Batch Information displays:
Product Name: LY11223344 10mg Tablet
Batch Number: 131341
Remarks: "No remarks. Moving and conducting retest"
Click "Receipt Information" to view receipt data:
Storage Condition: 2-8°C
Quantity Received: 100
Date of Transaction: 2025-12-01T20:06:29Z
Time of Transaction, Dosing Date (empty)
Part 7: Process Data Tab
Click the "Process Data" tab. A message displays: "Process data does not yet exist for this entity."
After a moment, process data loads, showing linked workflows and experiments, including:

Part 8: Parents & Children Tab
Click the "Parents & Children" tab.
Toggle between Tree and Table views using the display buttons.
In Tree view, the hierarchy shows: ESP001031 (API Batch) → LY11223344 10mg Tablet_131341#1 (LY11223344 10mg Tablet).
In Table view, the Entity Parents section shows:
Entity Type: API Batch
Name: ESP001031
Created: 12/01/2025
Entity Children: No content.
Part 9: History Tab
Click the "History" tab to view the complete audit trail for this inventory item.
The history log shows all changes made, with columns: Date, Action, Performed By.

Scroll down the History tab to review the complete audit trail.
Part 11: Navigating to the Assets Module
Open the left navigation sidebar by clicking the hamburger menu (≡) in the top-left corner.
Click "Assets" in the left navigation panel to switch to the Assets module.
Part 12: Exploring the Assets – Containers Tab
The Assets module opens on the Containers tab by default. It shows 36 containers total, with a left-hand filter panel and a list grouped by container type.
Review the container list. Containers are grouped
Part 13: Switching to the Kits Tab
Click the "Kits" tab at the top of the Assets module. The view now shows 29 kits total.
Review the Kits list. Kits are grouped by type and shown with columns:
Part 14: Opening Demo Kit AR4005
Click "Demo Kit AR4005" in the Kits list. A new tab opens: "Demo Kit AR4005."
The kit detail view opens. The top bar shows action buttons: Export History, Print Summary, Archive, Cancel, and Save (with a dropdown arrow).
The left "Details for Demo Kit AR4005" panel lists all items in the kit that are below their minimum quantity
Part 15: Adding Items to the Kit
The main Kit tab shows items grouped by item type. Each group displays Min, Max, and Total Added quantities. Items with 0 added are flagged (Total Added shown in red).
Scroll through the kit item groups:

To add an item lot to the kit, click the "+ Add" button to the right of any available lot row.
The Kit Details panel on the right updates in real time as items are added.
Part 16: Viewing Label Previews
While the kit detail view is open, a label PDF preview loads in a side window to the right of the main L7|ESP interface. The label document (demo_labels.pdf) shows printable QR code labels for each item added to the kit. Label columns are: Item Type, Item Name, Barcode, Barcode Type (QR).
Labels visible in the preview include:

To generate this label PDF, click the "Print Summary" button at the top of the kit detail view. (The demo shows the result of this action — the PDF renders alongside the kit view.)
Part 17: Saving the Kit
Click "Save" (top right of the kit view) to save the kit with the added items. The Save button has a dropdown arrow for additional save options.
Part 18: Returning to the Kits List
Click the back arrow or the "Kits" breadcrumb tab to return to the full Kits list. The updated Demo Kit AR4005 entry is visible in the list, still showing Pending Verification status, as kit verification requires a separate approval step.
