Before you begin...

Role of the Modeler (aka Platform Solution Engineer)

This skill track enables “super users” to model data and workflows using a combination of no-code and low-code techniques that ultimately determine how end-users execute their work in L7|ESP. Modelers are expected to understand scientific operations sufficient to translate, configure and test them in the L7|ESP platform while ensuring processing efficiency and performance.  

Pre-requisites for the role

  • Experience with:
    • L7|ESP
    • The scientific processes being modeled
    • Scientific and manufacturing process modeling
    • Manufacturing execution systems (MES)
  • Familiarity with:
    • Unix command line
    • Editing Python and Javascript, not composing from scratch
  • We recommend knowledge of:
    • Version control systems (Git)
    • YAML
